The site was beautiful but unfortunately the yert had lots of dog hair left on the linen. Also, it was simply too cold to stay in on a cold night, even with the heater on. My fiancé and I had no choice but to leave in the evening before even staying a single night because we were so cold and he was allergic to the dog hair. Host was very responsive during the stay, but did not respond when I asked for a partial refund for the negative experience. I’d suggest only booking during warm months when a pet friendly accommodation is needed.

Janna was a wonderful host, very friendly and responsive who was always available if we needed anything and helped us having a much better time there. The place is so beautiful and unique! far into the desert but also close enough to all kinds of things, we just walked outside the property and had the best hike! We were there in winter that can be cold. Remember that you’re camping! But also, you might be lucky like us to sleep cozily under blankets with rain pouring over your tent. Magical 🤩❤️

Janna's tent is a cool experience - you're definitely "camping" ( bring warm clothes!) - but get the luxury of a real, nice, clean bed, protection from the elements and you're off the ground. The bathroom and grill area was clean and useful, fully stocked with everything we needed to make some pre-hiking breakfasts. November is a cold time to spend the night outdoors but Janna had plenty of blankets and made sure we had the right gear to have a pleasant stay.
