We have stayed with Rob and Yoko 4 or 5 times now. It is such a lovely, peaceful, clean home. In the Spring and Summer the grounds are beautiful, in the fall and winter you'll see a lot of birds and the view from the front door out is awesome. The two rooms are both beautiful and sharing a bathroom with other people is easy and never weird. The hospitality is great. Every morning a Continental breakfast is there for you of fresh fruit, hot beverages, great bread and some spreads. It's simple but delicious. You can come and go as you please of course but visiting with the hosts is a pleasure too. You are a short drive from many small village centers, shopping areas, any regular store you need and Poughkeepsie is about 20 minutes away. There are a lot of shops and restaurants all over but also a lot of small village charm and low key places. Easy back and forth from NYC if you are interested.

Staying with Rob and Yoko always feels like home. They are warm, caring, and attentive. Their home is a beautiful mix of historic and contemporary and makes for a pleasant stay in pleasant valley!
