We had such a brilliant stay in Vis. Andrea and Matija’s place is something special - really off the beaten track and in beautiful surroundings. It’s so private - you wouldn’t know it’s there! Secluded by pine trees and palm trees, the lovely rustic house is nice and cool when it’s hot, and there’s also A/C available. Comfy beds and a spacious downstairs area, it is a very comfortable home. The hosts provided a cot and high chair for our toddler, and on arrival supplied us with a map of Vis and some activities. The highlight was the location of the Villa - a 2 min walk to the most lovely sandy beach that was so shallow and a great temp! We spent days there splashing around, paddle boarding and enjoying some lovely walks to the neighbouring beach (also sandy!) This is a very special place and we hope to be back!

We had a fabulous holiday on the idyllic island of Vis and were extremely happy with our superb hosts’ property. The welcome refreshments and lemons were much appreciated. The house was very clean, spacious, and offered everything we needed, including a fully-equipped kitchen, appliances, powerful shower, comfortable bed. The garden was delightful and tranquil, with an abundance of greenery, open and canopied seating areas, barbecue, hammock. Fresh herbs could be used, such as for the fish we bought at a fishmonger’s Matija very kindly took us to. The beachfront location was perfect. The sea and views here and elsewhere were spectacular. A couple of great bikes were provided, which we made good use of. The service provided by the owners was commendably excellent. Andrea and Matija were so friendly, welcoming, accommodating, efficient, informative, and could not have been more helpful. Thank you both so much again for helping to make our holiday such a fantastic, truly memorable one!

We really enjoyed the comfort of the house, we found everything we needed. The garden is magical. We really enjoyed that the beach is only a few steps away and only a bathing suit is enough. The water was very clean, sandy, slowly deepening, ideal for children. The island of Vis is also wonderful, with warm weather even in the second half of September. We had the best vacation, full of relaxation. We kept in touch with Matija, he was very helpful, he responded very quickly, almost in a few minutes, and we received useful information about the island from him.

Za apartman i domacina imamo same pohvale. Sve je bilo savrseno, pocevsi od lokacije u prekrasnoj mirnoj uvali odmah pored lijepe pjescane plaže. Terasa i vrt su takoder predivni i savrseni za opustanje uz lezaljke, veliki stol i rostilj. Kuca je takoder prostrana i sadrzi sve sto trebate, a ako nesto zafali tu je bio jako ljubazni i pristupacni domacin Matija koji je uvijek bio na raspolaganju. Takoder, dobro je upoznat s otokom i dao nam je dobre preporuke za plaze i restorane. Sve preporuke za ovaj smjestaj!

Matijas place is a semidetached house, with unobstructed view to the forrest, located just above Milna beach. The place was perfect for our family of 5. I especially loved the fully equipped kitchen that had a dishwasher. Washing machine and A.C. were lifesavers. The entire place was spotless clean. Matija went above and beyond - he left beverages for our arrival and gifted us a large fish to cook (this came in handy considering that dinner for 2 adults plus one appetiser and drinks did cost constantly over 100 Euro on the island). We were not a fan of Milna beach simply because it was littered daily by waves bringing in garbage. It is unfortunate that the authorities did no cleanup on the beach during the time of our stay. We did pick up garbage daily, but there was no improvement. We chose the go to the next beach, which was (with 3 kids in tow) a 20 min walk in the sun -no car access to beach.I’m thankful to Matija - it was because of his listing that we discovered the island Vis.
