We have just returned from a week at Juan’s house. We loved every aspect of our stay; the green surroundings, the location of the house itself (5 min to the local market, panaderia and wine shop) and Ro the amazing person who takes excellent care of the place. She even helped us finding very sought after reservations during the new years break at La Huella. Jose Ignacio is an amazing place to relax with your family and friends and Juan’s house is the ideal base for your next trip. Shame it was too short!

Excellent alternative for people wanting to stay in José Ignacio. Very convenient location and super comfortable property. House is even better than in the pictures. Will be definitely coming back

The house is great, extremely enjoyable, in a very quiet area, with a couple of restaurants within walking distance. If staying there, having a car is advisable for the supermarket is a bit more than fifteen minutes of a walk. Check in, check out and communications are absolutely perfect. Juan was available at all times and Rossana, the housekeeper, is an absolute delight. She only speaks Spanish, though. A couple of comments: - While there are three AC units, one is unable to use them all at the same time for the breaker trips immediately. - We had an unusual amount of rain and the house was briefly invaded by the smell of sewage. Probable the cesspit malfunctioned, but we don't really know. - The house is not at José Ignacio but at La Juanita instead. It's roughly a five minutes' drive to José Ignacio. - When we stayed the patio was a sandpit, not a garden. However, it looked like they were working on it still. In spite of these comments, the house is gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed both our stay and our communication with Juan and Rossana. Highly recommended.
