Clean, spacious room with private bath and mini-fridge in room which was especially helpful in time of covid. Very clean and well supplied with paper products and kitchen accessories. Smart tv. Comfortable bed.

This space is quite large for a listing as merely one bedroom. As it is in the basement, and as it is adjacent to the shared laundry room, you might have to deal with the noises of other visitors. Otherwise, this is one of the best value stays I've come across, and Jessica was very flexible and accommodating when my plans suddenly required me to stay a couple extra days.

Jessica is a kind host who I believe genuinely wants her guests to enjoy their stays. However, some things I had issues with during my stay weren’t ones that could have been easily rectified. This listing is in the basement of the house and exhibits some unfinished features (such as one of the windows and a few walls with missing trim). The gaps around the window and between the walls and ceiling allow a lot of bugs to get in (including centipedes, spiders, large ants, flys, and others I don’t know the name of). On my last night I spotted a house centipede (google it if you don’t know what it is)... Ive never packed up my things and left a place so fast. If you’re ok with bugs, the place does have charm. The bed is comfy, the smart TV is nice, and the other guests were kind and welcoming. The house is in a quiet neighborhood near restaurants and other fun things. All in all, it was an ok stay— the bugs just really put a damper on things for me.
