The cabin was secluded, and the pond and trails behind the cabin were very picturesque and peaceful! The place was very clean, and we really enjoyed the hot tub. Overall, a relaxing getaway for the weekend!!

2 adult 2 kids (6&7) fit perfectly. Not sure how comfortable it would be with older children. Very pretty and updated inside. Very clean. Lots of little extras-board games, karaoke etc. Nice pond out back. Beware it is a steep rocky incline. Fun Trails for four wheelers out back. The cabin is not completely secluded, it’s in a neighborhood. However the entire view behind the house is wooded and gives a nice illusion of being secluded. Several dollar stores & gas station markets within 10 minutes. We enjoyed the hot tub at the cabin. However , it’s worth noting that you will have to turn the temp up when you arrive and if it’s chilly it takes a while to heat up- so don’t plan your entire first night around the hot tub you will probably have to wait until day 2. Overall, had a great time. Would recommend and will likely return.

The place has not been upkept well at all. The cabin is in desperate need of a good deep clean and maintenance. When we checked in, we noticed there was invoices for pest control left on the kitchen counter. The gate on the stairs has been used and abused. The latch is bent which made it very difficult to go up and down the stairs. We then ran into a mouse that was dying from poison in the lower-level bathroom. We reached out to the host but did not feel as if he was being honest and taking our concerns seriously. We choose to discontinue our stay. There seems to be a big issue with pests. The lower level has a strange odor and the bathroom had mouse pee and poop on the floor and bath matt. There was also dead bugs and mouse poop upstairs in the pantry. Also, I'm not sure what the situation is with the water heater (or the pump for the hot tub maybe?) it seemed unsafe. It had some dingy blanket hanging over it. This Airbnb was not the relaxing weekend getaway that we were looking for.
