The Anchorage was perfect for racing at Ironman Maryland but would also be great for peaceful weekend getaway. Woody met us upon arrival for a tour of the property as well as providing great local dinner recommendations. The location was peaceful with great views out over the Choptank River and made for a idyllic morning breakfast setting (including Woody's world famous corn muffins!) You won't be disappointed staying here aside from the fact you will want to stay longer.

This B & B is right off of Rt. 50, but once you are on the property, the highway is a million miles away. The beautiful Choptank River is within a short stroll, and all you can hear are the sounds of nature. The accommodations were clean, modern and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious with special touches like a formally set table, fresh biscuits with homemade blackberry jam and pesto eggs. The kayaks are easily accessible and a quiet cove is nearby or, of course, the entire river. I highly recommend this venue for a couple, family or even a wedding.

Had a great stay for the Eagleman 70.3 triathlon. Location was beautiful and close. Woody and Michelle were very good hosts as well.

This is a can't miss opportunity on the Eastern Shore. Rather than go into town we opted just to enjoy the day on the property that included and magnificent view, kayaks, a swimming pool, art studio, croquet, and many other things for us to enjoy. Michelle and Woody are fantastic hosts that make one and all feel welcome. The accommodations and breakfast outdoors were wonderful. We will be back!!
