The place is quite small and at the end of a neighborhood. I didn’t feel very safe, cause you have only glass doors. It might be a nice place to stay if your friends are staying in the other apartments around you in the same building. It’s true it’a a 20 minute walk to the “center” of Lajares, where you find cafes and restaurants. The biggest issue was the internet not working at all or sometimes very slow. I didn’t have mobile coverage most of the time in the apartment, so it was quite a problem. Especially when you have to work. The host explained there was a problem with the internet in the city, but my friends who lived 300m further down the road at another place had no problem at all. The host wasn’t answering very quickly when I mentioned that or when I asked how to do the check-out. The towels weren’t very clean and there was no soap. A few little things coming together, not worth the money. Will look for another place next time.

We really enjoyed our accommodation in Lajares. It was very clean, spacious and calm. There is a lot of parking room for the car at the house. Shops are nearby in the village of Lajares, which offers also good dining options. Communication with the owner was via WhatsApp and going smooth. We give the accommodation a 10/10 note and will come back !
