自我介绍

My name is Hilde Timmermans and I live in one of the most beautiful places in Hofstade near Mechelen, in the greenery, by the water and by the forest. As a child I got to know the world. I sailed with my parents year after year in Dutch waters. The adventurer in me was born. When I later started to travel independently, I kept dreaming... that I would go abroad to open a hotel, for example. I have always worked hard, searching my own place in the world, for a long time, I renovated houses, alone or with others. When in 2016 this dream place in Hofstade was for sale, I was immediately sold. It seemed magical, because of its shape, location and atmosphere. And in the meantime it has become more and more clear that it really is a special magical place. Because of the water in the background, the green of the woods and the atmosphere of the house, you feel immediately on holiday. I now live abroad in my own country. This is the place I always searched for, this is my place to stay, here I will leave my mark... that's for sure. The place has inspired me several times now and the ideas keep bubbling and bubbling... I am fed daily by all the beautiful things around me. As a human, I love people around me, I can listen to them for hours, sniff up their culture and I like to bring people together. My initial dream to run a small hotel in combination with the place I found here and my interest in others, has logically been translated into the design of a nice Air BnB space. Those who end up here, will find an enterprising, enthusiastic and cheerful hostess. I love my dog Cannelle and the daily walks in the woods, I love dancing and yoga, I am creative and make funny new stuff out of old things. In the garden I have transformed an old building into a cosy and hospitable yoga studio and the plans for the house and the garden keep coming and developing step by step. There will be an edible garden, we will give workshops with some like-minded people and I secretly dream of mini-concerts, vintage markets and more… I would like to welcome my future guests to my world and life, full of adventure and conviviality.
