If this apartment was a person, it'd be someone kind, friendly and always happy. It is tidy and well-kept, with a large open-plan living space, modern kitchen, and a balcony complete with hammock to sit with a drink/book and watch the world go by. There's one bedroom with queen bed, a spacious and well-equipped study, laundry/bathroom...plus plenty of indoor plants. The complex also offers secure parking, pool, gym, spa & sauna. For public transport we are 2 mins from Maylands Train Station. There's free wifi, smart TV (with HDMI cord & Netflix), board games, hammock, heating & air-conditioning, washing machine/dryer, bath tub to relax in!

A nice place close to good local cafes and train station. Perfect for my work trip.
good location easy access to trains buses, and close to city
I wasn’t going to write a review in order to avoid reliving unpleasant experience. There are four major issues with this place and my experience living here. 1) Professionalism issues (unable to take on feedback)& unfriendly attitude from host; 2) Safety; 3)Cleanliness; 4)Noise. 1) Upon arrival, I found the mailbox for the lockbox and it was closed( not locked) so I rang the host to clarify. The host was unfriendly&rude despite I tried my best to be polite&friendly;this situation got worse when I voiced my discomfort towards the host’s demeanour when I was attacked and accused of ‘making up stories’. The host seems rather incapable to remain professional and receive feedback; 2) Loud noises throughout the night&told “ I can’t control other people’s behaviours” when reported to the host; 3) The dispensers of the washing machine was covered in grease and dirt; 4) I found that the door cannot be closed from the inside which poses critical safety issues and was rather concerning
location is so central to everything, place was great lots to do lots to eat definitely would Iike to stay again.

The apartment is an easy walk to the cafe strip of Eighth Ave and Whatley Cres, as well as Maylands Train Station (which will have you in the city in around 10 minutes).
The neighbourhood is home to some stunning pieces of street-art (we'll leave you some directions about how to find them) and plenty of cool boutique shops as well.
The Swan River is about a 10 minute walk away, with some picturesque views over the water with the city skyline in the background.
Cycle and walking paths follow the river around Maylands Peninsula as well, which we highly recommend, especially early morning or at dusk.
For food shopping we are a 5 minute drive/15 minute walk from a Coles & a IGA Supermarket. We also have a local chemist, post office and ATM, within walking distance.
A bus that leaves to the city is located about 50 metres from the apartment and leaves every 15 minutes. Likewise, trains are always running from Maylands Train Station (about 500m away).
A cycle path will also take you into the city as well, about 5km's away.
