Quaint, cozy, clean and the shower was amazing! The washing machine didn't work but we were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Pros: 1. Great location - 10 minutes from Riverwalk area 2. They thought of little things that made the place feel cozier 3. DeBarron was very responsive to communication through AirBnB, which is appreciated Cons: 1. Neighborhood is run down. We didn't feel unsafe (wasn't quite at bars-on-the-windows stage), but we did notice two dogs who were always out running around in the street so kept an eye on them with our kiddos, and loud cars going by blasting music. 2. The house needs work in general with a lot of quick fixes to cover up an older, aging house. Porch has missing/rotting wood, window AC units are super old and loud, and some other things that need addressing. 3. No smoke/fire alarm or carbon monoxide detectors (as described), but made us feel uncomfortable lighting and using the gas stove, so no cooking. 4. Biggest problem was no working laundry machine, which we had planned on using. Did laundry in the bathtub. Not fun.

My son and I had a great stay at this cottage. It was a very seamless check in process for us. We were in town for a Warriors vs Spurs game. We didn’t really feel comfortable walking back to the house at night time, so we just drove to the game and back which took less than 5 minutes. It was very close! The home is close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores for easy convenience. Thanks for sharing your home with us for a few days!
