I would like to express my deepest gratitude for that magic place Gabriella was so kind to open for us to experience unforgettable dream life in rural Sicily! I found her beautiful home looking for healing retreat place to celebrate my birthday and this place was even more beautiful that i could imagine. Cosy and very soulful barn on top of the mountain surrounded by wild nature of Nebrodi national park was making me so happy 24/7. Amazing Stefano was so welcoming and helpful, providing the best experience as well as the most delicious zuccinis from his own garden. It felt like we were visiting family as it felt so friendly and homelike being there and communicating with Stefano and Gabriella. The garden and the house are really heaven on earth! Atmosphere so peaceful and healing. So much to explore. Amazing feeling of grounding and belonging! I'm so grateful for Stefano and Gabriella for providing such a meaningful, wonderful and warm experience! Thank you! Can't wait to be back<3

I don’t even know where to start. What words can describe paradise? Up in the mountains, wild horses, donkeys, and cows roaming past your bedroom windows, a billion stars at night, this place is beyond special. We stayed here for one month, without a car, and could have easily stayed much longer. The property itself is beautifully decorated, full of joyful colours and pieces from Gabriella’s travels. Her taste is second to none, and her hospitality… She made sure that we couldn’t want for anything, and if we did, we didn’t want for long! Gabriella wasn’t just a brilliant host, but a genuinely wonderful friend. The neighbours likewise. They didn’t speak any English, and our Italian is arguably worse, and yet, over the space of a month, such a cute, loving relationship blossomed. Speaking of blossoming, they all grow an abundance of fruit and veg, and were constantly sharing it with us. This really made our stay here so magical. Simple cooking (which the kitchen is adequately set up for) is all about the quality of the produce, and you couldn’t get any fresher. Delicious tomatoes, sourdough, olive oil… perfection. Every review we read recommended a car. And while we agree that having a car might have been useful (especially for seeing other parts of the mountains), I would argue that not having a car also allowed us to immerse ourselves more fully into the magic of the property and the surrounding community, human and non human. That said, we would have struggled if it wasn’t for the kindness and generosity of Gabriella and the neighbours. They are such a large part of the reason why this place has taken a piece of our hearts. As Gabriella said, we’ll just have to come back to pick them up again! Stay here if you get a chance, it truly is magic.

Very nice and calm place. Every nature lover will love this little cottage in the Sicilian mountains. Highly recommended! :)

unfortunately our son had a bad flu and therefore it as to cold for us to stay. in general its a very cute house and the area of the nebrodi is of course stunning and worth a visit with beautiful day trips!
