We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Apartment! The apartment was clean, quiet and well situated for where we wanted to be in Bellingham, just 10 minutes to the center of town or university area, yet the feeling was of being at a cabin in the woods. The view is as shown, and the deer visitors as described by other guests. As cat lovers we were delighted to be greeted by the beautiful Blaze and he honored us with his visits on a few occasions. A very sweet guy and made us feel right at home. Lara and Casey were totally on top of the few questions we had, and the 'noise' mentioned in the listing from the house above the apartment was minimal and unobtrusive-better described as a few soft 'sounds'. Loved the mini-split heating/cooling system-quiet, efficient and so much more comfortable than the radiators our hosts replaced.

We had a great stay! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Bellingham. Lara and Casey's home is in a beautiful space and the apartment is very private, easy to get in and out of and close to all of the trails and had a great view.

Lara and Casey's place was spectacular. Excellent, quiet location close to town. Woke up every morning and shared coffee with the deer. The full kitchen was helpful on nights I didn't want to eat out, and the space was layed out comfortably. Lara and Casey were quick to respond to my questions. I would definitely stay here again!
