The place is quite homely, the locations is accessible and near relevant amenities including local shops, and the area is also secure. The house was clean and the host was quite positively engaging and helpful.

Our stay at Valeria’s place with our two teenagers was amazing. It was our first time visiting the beautiful country and Valeria cared for a soft landing. She organized a private driver, Kelvin, to come and pick us up at the airport so we were swift on our way. The place is a 5 minute ride on the tuktuk from the center of town in a laid back neighborhood with small shops and eateries serving local food. The rooms were clean, simpel but well equipped with bedding, towel and mosquito nets. There is a spacious living room and kitchen with stove and fridge. In lush green surroundings Valeria runs her WEECE an organization she started to support young women and girls, it also functions as a day care center so you will meet the kids whilst your stay. Valeria and her kind secretary Nancy give you a warm welcome and help you with any assistance necessary. They show you around and go out of their way to get any specific question solved. Highly recommended!

WEECE is truly a remarkable and wonderful experience. They are generous and welcoming hosts who can answer any questions you have about Moshi and help with any arrangements you might need to make. They helped me arrange for very inexpensive portable wifi; I could take my mini-modem with me anywhere around town. The rooms are sparkling clean and it's very easy to get to downtown Moshi. Aside from the amazing hospitality, the best part of staying with WEECE is that your money goes immediately into Tanzanian-run non-profit women's development projects in the Kilimanjaro region.
