Conveniently located 22 minutes to downtown Asheville (Merrimon Avenue exit off I-240), 18 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway, 24 minutes to Biltmore Estate, 20 minutes to Black Mountain, 32 minutes to Chimney Rock/Lake Lure and 40 minutes to Hendersonville, this quiet getaway is still close to all the attractions and activities. The driveway is steep and narrow, but all paved except for the flatter parking area (watch our drone video), where a 2-to-4-point turn will turn your vehicle around again. For those not comfortable on mountain roads or have a fear of heights, this may not be the cabin for you. It's a unique property; the driveway and steps just play a part of this mountain cabin experience - adding to the adventure! We have 42 steps from the driveway to the front door; for those with mobility difficulties, the steps are not suitable.
