Für uns als Familie mit zwei Kindern war die Unterkunft sehr gut geeignet, besonders der Pool war eine große Freude, sowie auch der kleine Garten. Die Lage beim Bahnhof ist praktisch, um die Umgebung (Mailand, Stresa, Arona, Domodossola...) zu erkunden. Akustisch haben die Züge auf der selten frequentierten Strecke nicht gestört, ansonsten ist es auch sehr ruhig (keine Autos). Wir haben täglich im Garten gefrühstückt und die schöne Aussicht auf die gepflegte Anlage und die umliegenden Hügel genossen. Es war wohl die sauberste Unterkunft, die wir je über Airbnb gebucht haben. :) Meina ist ein sehr ruhiges kleines Dorf am Lago, mit Cafés, einem schönen Spielplatz mit toller Gastronomie und Bäckerei / Fleischerei. Etwas schade fanden wir, dass der mini-market geschlossen hat. Paolo und Rossella waren sehr gastfreundlich und auskunftsfreudig. Sie haben uns eine Flasche gutes Olivenöl bei der Ankunft geschenkt, das wir während unseres Aufenthalts genossen haben.

Paolo and Rossella are very kind and friendly hosts who can give you recommendations of restaurants and things to do at lago maggiore. The apartment was tidy and clean. We loved to have a terrace where you can enjoy the sun and have breakfast/dinner. The pool is awesome and it's also just about 10 minutes walking to the beach. Meina is a very small and cute village - there's a bakery, butcher, a small supermarket and restaurants. And by car it's only a few minutes to the busier towns around the lake. So it's the perfect home base for a quiet holiday and trips around the lake.

The apartment was a perfect match for us (family of 4). The home was immaculately clean. With a 'fully' equipped kitchen, spacious living and dining area, good storage space, a double-bed and a sofa-bed. I loved sipping freshly brewed coffee on the veranda in the morning sun and the kids had a lot fun spending time in the swimming pool. The location is great to visit the Alps for hiking, Lago Maggiore for swimming, Milan for shopping and visiting many of the historic villages along the lake's west side. Paolo and Rosella are very responsive hosts who know how to make your stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Highly recommended!

Era un bel appartamento molto pulito con tutto che abbiamo bisogno. Quando siamo arrivate , eravamo aspetatti con molto gentilezza; hanno preso il tempo di spiegare tutto da visitare et piu! sono disponibili et molto gentili, sono accanto è molto facile per chiedere qualcosa. la piscina era bella e pulita.
