When you walk into a house late at night for your mom’s funeral the next day (that luckily the door was unlocked because there was no keypad on the door as the listing suggested) and sheets are off beds, dirty and on the floor, literal poop splattered up and onto the toilets, crumbs everywhere, stove top greased up, garbages not emptied, and the house smells like a frat party just finished, you are beyond instantly stressed. We wanted to go to bed and rest up for the big day the next day, yet had to spend a couple hours talking to air bnb because this host wouldn’t answer and this remote area doesn’t have many air bnb options, but this disaster only caused us more grief than we needed added. Completely dissatisfied with this house and host and have never experienced something so disgusting in an air bnb. Do not recommend. Zero stars. I have picture receipts, so hopefully Andrew doesn’t try and give ME the bad review knowing that there’s no way he’s getting a good review from me.
The place was a really nice and we enjoyed our time there. Andrew responded immediately to a question we had and took care of it ASAP. Would happily return for another weekend away.
This place was perfect for our weekend get away! Such a beautiful location and the lodge was very nice!
