Excellent location, beautiful scenery and perfectly situated for exploring North/mid Wales (Rhuthin, fab footgolf, Llangollen and it's famous aqueduct, Chirk and Bala were also on our list!) We have stayed in quite a few pods but this one felt very spacious, you can park right next to your pod, good for unloading. Our Pod (#3) was lovely and clean, plenty of loo roll, hand soap, washing up liquid and teatowel. (Take bin liners as there's only a small 'teabag' bin in the pod). Plenty of power points. The fridge and kettle (tea/coffee/milk/sugar sachets and cups provided) were great additions to the pod, our little boy loved the free biscuits! Fairy lights around the door made it cosy for sitting out under the stars. There was a picnic bench for us to use outside and we hired a firepit (with wood) for a tenner. The communal sitting area is a great idea and we would have definitely used it had we come with friends or if it had rained! There was also a communal kitchen area, with dining table, fridge, microwave and stove, all in good working order... and the cupboards had loads of plates, cups etc if you had forgotten anything. The showers were very clean, the water was warm but doesn't stay on for long! There are a few cheeky chickens wandering around and loads of sheep in the fields, fab for the kids! There's a little wooded area, rope swing and bench (with a view over the hills), beyond the campsite enclosure , which you are allowed to freely explore. Ray and Rose were really friendly and checked whether we needed anything in the morning/evening. Check-in was simple, Ray welcomed us on entry and the site was very easy to find. We had an awesome few days and the weather was very kind to us. Would defo recommend this glampsite! Thank you for having us!

Great location and facilities, the surrounding location was awesome to explore. The chickens were great company despite the fact they came in uninvited one time. Overall a great trip for mates or your significant other

This place is a jewel in Wales, lovely hosts, peaceful, stunning views, what more could you want… for us it was perfect and we look forward to returning soon.

We had a wonderful stay, with it had been longer! Perfect for families. Spotlessly clean with lots of thoughtful little touches. We were made to feel very welcome by fantastic hosts, but at the same time were given plenty of freedom to enjoy the space as a family without anyone hovering over us. Bring a football or a frisbee if you like, but to be honest our girls found plenty to do running around, feeding the chickens, watching the sheep and making friends with our neighbours. Lots of places to eat out in nearby Ruthin, but if the weather is nice you will probably want to stay put and enjoy the views and the peace and quiet, so bring supplies. We would absolutely love to come back
