Cozy place. Wood is included if you can chop it - otherwise bring your own pre-cut. We brought our sleeping bags and own blankets, but there are plenty there.

Just a little bit disappointed that the cabin and toilet need a deep clean. Spider nets are everywhere. I did not like to chop the wood myself. Other than that Deborah is very kind and the areas around are very nice.

The farm was great . Deborah was a good host. We enjoyed our stay there. :)

We enjoyed the bunkie itself and didn't mind "roughing it" as we are avid campers. That said, some things were not as listed. What sold us on the booking was for our child to have the opportunity to interact with the many animals named in the listing, to visit the farm store, etc. Unfortunately there are only two horses and some chickens on the property, and the farm store is currently closed. We were also disappointed that the BBQ grill was very dirty and hadn't appeared to have been cleaned for some time. We ended up going out for dinner instead of cooking the meal we had planned. Again, we weren't expecting fancy but accuracy is important when spending several hundred dollars on an accommodation that is essentially camping. To her credit, Deborah was a kind and helpful host and the surrounding area is pretty. That said, we won't stay again as we didn't find the experience to be worth the cost.

We had such a great weekend away, unplugging from the world. Beesberry Cottage was the perfect place to do that ... rustic, private, very 'outdoorsy'. My partner and I enjoyed the cottage, cooking on the fire, warming the space by wood stove and walking the beautiful trails around the property, not to mention the interaction with the farm animals. Eric gave us a great lay of the land upon our arrival and ensured we had what we needed for an enjoyable stay. If you are looking for an off-grid getaway, I highly recommend Beesberry Cottage. We will definitely be back!
