Beautiful surroundings and peaceful tranquility. Just what we needed to get away from the hustle and bustle. Mike was very helpful and responsive to communicating with us! Great visit!

We absolutely loved our stay. The home is cozy and inviting. The wood burning stove provides warmth and ambiance. The kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you need, as well as, basic essentials like spices, some condiments and butter. Comfortable beds for all. The decks invite you to sit and read while the creek serenades you, or luls you to sleep. The hidden nook is inviting for all ages, and will bring out the kid in you that always wanted to walk through the wardrobe. Very Lovely property with little waterfalls and peaceful pond that invite you to stay awhile. Hike up the trail to the AT from the cabin, just a short distance full of gorgeous scenery and wild life. The cabin is not far from many attractions and towns. Inviting for all, including the puppers. Check out the books, especially the ones with the tabs in them to learn about the area. Will recommend to friends and will return. Mike is very kind, helpful, and generous host a rare gem, like his home in the hollow.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Mike’s place! If I could give it 6 stars I would. Everything we wanted and more for a cozy, nostalgic weekend with my siblings that live across the country. The cottage was beautiful and charming, well stocked with everything we needed so we could just relax and enjoy catching up. Something we really appreciated was all the personal touches. The cottage is decorated with so many cool, eclectic pieces and beautiful antique furniture that set it apart from any other Airbnb I’ve ever rented. The location is a dream, I still miss waking up and drinking my coffee with the sound of the running creek in the background. We hope to make it back for another stay at this cottage!

This was a lovely whimsical place that we enjoyed so much. You can hear the creek from porch! Beds were comfortable and no amenity was overlooked.

Mike is a kind and generous host, and has thought of every detail to make your stay welcoming, even a handwritten note and fresh flowers on our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with spices and condiments. The beds were comfortable with ample linens. We enjoyed the wood stove and eclectic selection of books. Plus, actual cable TV. The house is very clean and in a private setting. We saw a pileated woodpecker, too!
