Really lovely place, the only thing that makes it 4 star and not 5 was the fact that it wasn't quite as clean as I was expecting. The host had some great recommendations in the surrounding area, and it was not difficult to find amazing things to do ourselves as the area is quiet in all the right ways yet there is so much to do. Would recommend and will probably revisit this place in future.

This property is based in a stunning location. It is very private, the fees are spectacular and stepping right outside is a bridlepath. It is a short drive into both Porthmadog and Tremadog with plenty of shops and places to eat but is far enough out to feel like you have escaped the town and in the countryside for a break from everything. The bedrooms are beautiful and so comfy and the hot tub was a welcome bonus to entertain the little one on a rainy afternoon, just be aware it takes quite a while to set up initially but then is very easy to use the day after. The only downsides for us was that the bathroom was quite small and lacked ventilation. And, this is our own fault from not paying attention to the pictures enough but the dining table is in the kitchen making it quite a cramped area to sit around as a family. However, for the price we were paying we decided it still sat within our budget to just eat out at some lovely reasonably priced places nearby.

Although we managed to enjoy our stay, we would not go back. The stairs to reach the hot tub was uneven and slippery, there was some general waste covered behind the curtains next to the hot tube, and the shower cubicle was very small and difficult to move around (all these not shown in the pics). Also, there was only one toilet paper provided (no big deal but still would be nice to have more than the bare minimum) and the coffee machine was broken (-the host was quick to respond and said he was going to replace it the next day). Overall, the house was clean but it would benefit from a bit of a refreshing. Still, there were also some positives. The location was easy to find, close to several places and surrounded by a pretty landscape, the main room was very pretty and had a comfortable bed, and the hot tube was nice and comfortable as well.

Enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and the rooms were beautiful! Only issue we had was the kitchen was a tad small and the oven was not the easiest to use and could do with an upgrade.

A beautiful get away spot in a quiet setting. This place is a perfectly cosy home to come back too after enjoying the gorgeous countryside of Wales, close to snowdon and walking distance to Porthmadog along a very pretty forest path directly from the house. I eould happily stay here again.
