The antique decorations throughout this home perfectly accentuate the ambiance of the home and neighborhood. My sister and I spent very peaceful and comfortable evenings and nights when we returned each day after visiting our elderly mother and aunts who live in Roseburg. We had hoped to entertain them with a visit to this charming home built one year after our mother was born but, due to the somewhat steep terrain surrounding the home and patio, wheelchairs and walkers were incompatible. We highly recommend this home to anyone with normal mobility. The beautiful, centrally located neighborhood filled with numerous stunning homes from this same period will provide many enjoyable walks when you need to wind down. The owners, Doug and Molly, are exceptionally accommodating and genuinely nice folks. Enjoy your stay here!

Our stay at Doug and Molly's beautiful house was wonderful!! This is our new favorite place to stay in Roseburg! The house is lovely--the decor perfectly fits with the 1920's architecture. Entering the house is like stepping back in time a hundred years--from the period hardware and original Douglas Fir floors to each thoughtfully placed accent, everything was meticulously restored and thoughtfully decorated. Even the modern appliances do not detract from the charming vintage feel. On top of that, the house was spotless, the cleanest Airbnb we have stayed in! The neighborhood is extremely quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise whatsoever. The surrounding homes are full of character, and it is fun to get your exercise by climbing the hill and admiring the variety of unique houses, or taking a gentle walk on the flat street a block down. Doug and Molly were terrific hosts, friendly and quickly responsive to any questions, and have put a lot of love and energy into their home.

The house was very charming. Molly let me know that she collects and sells vintage items. They were very beautiful items. Traveling with a toddler, Molly was very accommodating in letting me child-proof the home. It’s an old home so there are some squeaks and creaks. We found it helpful in keeping track of our toddler. Hosts were quick to respond when we had questions and I loved that. This home is a on a steep hill and just a few minutes from downtown roseburg. I found great stores including a record and coffee shop, and True Food is a must. So delicious! Even when carrying out. It was a nice stay for me and my family. Thanks again!!

My husband and I have stayed at Doug and Molly's cottage on numerous occasions. Obviously we love it, since we keep coming back. During this visit we had an unplanned family situation arise that affected our reservation. Doug and Molly were beyond gracious. We are so grateful.
