Anyone that rates this place less than 5 stars has no joy in their life and I feel sorry for their spouse that has to tolerate that person on a daily basis. This mansion is unbelievable. I have stayed in many incredible places in my life and this is right up there in the top 5. The attention to detail in decorating and restoring the home is second to none. This place just blew me away. The gardens are gorgeous and directly across the street from a stunning park with a stream running through it. From the snacks and drinks in the kitchen to the period decor, just everything was awe inspiring. You can tell the owners put every ounce of their heart and soul into this place. There is absolutely nothing they missed and I cannot wait to go back. Breathtaking. Pro tip: Watch the Hoarders episode this was on to gain a better appreciation of everything they went through to get this house restored.

Incredible. Just an absolutely incredible house to stay at with loved ones. Walking into Michael’s house feels like you’re traveling back in time and seeing history unfold right in front of you. This was a truly special experience for both my partner and I. We will definitely be coming back.

OMG!! I wrote a review on my phone the day after, but I guess it never posted! What a magical experience for anyone! For someone that has watched the history and the restoration of such a masterpiece and the incredible people that brought it back to life - Michael and Eric- it was a "real life bucket list" event for me and it did not disappoint! Mike was super responsive and as kind and amazing as I had seen and hoped! My only wish would be to stay longer, but we hope to do that in the future! It was surreal to be in a home so exquisite, so mind-blowingly well done- every single corner considered and pristine and just fantastic!! We are so beyond grateful to have had such a lovely, warm, welcoming experience and would recommend it to anyone that truly can appreciate what Hillside is and the Julian Price house and Mike and Eric!! We were honored !! Looking forward to seeing your beautiful place again in the future!! Much appreciation!! The "B" Family!

What an exceptional home! My wife and I visited for a short getaway. We stayed in the Dogwood Suite, which is even better in person than the pictures. The house has a grandeur from a bygone era and has been impeccably restored. Michael was such a gracious host and also gave us some great tips for local restaurants nearby. We hope to get the chance to be back soon.
