My daughters and grandaughters and I enjoyed a girls weekend at the Eliza Gray House. It was perfect for us. We enjoyed the front porch every chance we had. It is one block over from Main Street, The Martha Washington Hotel and The Barter Theater so we could walk everywhere we wanted. The kitchen was well stocked although we ate most of our meals out. This house is so charming...it was built in 1893 but baths and kitchen have been updated. Mary and Vaughn communicated with us and even offered a later check out which we took so we could sleep a little later. We definitely hope to rent again!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was at The Eliza Grey!! The house itself was so charming and historic, and Vaughn and Mary have done an excellent job to think of every detail! We loved sitting on the huge front porch and exploring downtown with everything being walking distance. All of the beds were super comfortable and each room even had its own sound machine. We loved every second of staying here and highly recommend!

We stayed during a work-related visit to Abingdon, and Vaughn and Mary were wonderful hosts! The house is comfortable, well-appointed, and conveniently located. Vaughn and Mary were consistently responsive and helpful as I had questions. I highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a really pleasant stay! Mary and Vaughn were super communicative from start to finish. Their instructions were very easy to understand. The property itself was quite comfortable and clean. We felt very safe the entire time and were able to walk to various bars and restaurants. Mary and Vaughn are very well organized people! They had the place ready for us with everything we needed plus more.They thought of everything! I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a stay in Abingdon.
