Pinkie (and Beau and Birdie!) were amazing hosts. We were there for a Bachelorette party so that everyone could stay in the same place! The house and property were absolutely beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious. Pinkie was so sweet! On the rainy day, she set up the fire in the den where we stayed all day.
Pinkie was extremely friendly and was helpful by allowing for a slightly early check-in. The house was spacious and clean and getting to be on a working farm was a great experience. Would highly recommend!
we had a wonderful weekend with our family. There was tons of room inside and out and it was easy to relax and enjoy the house. Breakfast each day was amazing. Thank you Pinkie!
The best Airbnb I have ever stayed at!!! Pinkies home and property are BEAUTIFUL and so peaceful. I wish I could have stayed longer - I will 100% be booking another stay in the future! Pinkie was always quickly responsive to questions / requests but above that, she was such a kind and fantastic host! Not to mention that the breakfasts she made for our group were DELICIOUS! I can’t say enough good things about Pinkie and her home!

自我介绍
We are world travelers, Bruce is Scottish/Australian (this is why we have Highlands), and Pinkie grew up in Virginia and overseas. By chance we found this beautiful farm while visiting from Colorado, and we are so fortunate our 2 adult children wanted to move to this area too! About our farm: The house was built in 1910 by the Graves family, and at that time had about 200 acres. We have been able learn the early history of the farm by corresponding with the youngest daughter of the Graves that was born in the house in the 1920's. We also are friends with the son of the second owners, a retired admiral and his wife, and hear many stories of their family growing up here. We are now the third owners, or I like to consider ourselves as caretakers of this peaceful farm.
