I loved the Hobbit House! It was a fairytale come true! I’m a big Lord of the Rings fan, so i really appreciated all the thought and detail in the cute decorations. We also really loved the quaint yard and the quick stroll to the properties very cool playground and kids cabin. We hope to come back!

This place is unique and special. Exactly how advertised - a true hobbit house. Lots of special decorating touches. Very well done. I would absolutely recommend this place.

This enchanting cabin was more than we could have asked for. So many small touches giving a nod to fantasy lovers that we continued to find more throughout the weekend. We will definitely be returning with a full day dedicated to using the LoTRs DVD set and scheduling an appointment with the masseuse.

This place is MAGICAL. A stunning and adorable cottage themed on LOTR fandom, this idyllic property offered privacy, comfort, and fun! We loved the screened in hot tub porch, the options for indoor and outdoor fires, the thematic and customizable lighting (especially upstairs), and the in-home sound system (I highly recommend that you hook up to Bluetooth and play LOTR soundtracks whenever possible). Wineries, breweries, and distilleries ranging from 20-45 minutes away. We tried Brix and Columns and enjoyed it! Close to Luray Caverns and Massanutten. Couldn’t have asked for a better anniversary trip!

This is the second time we have booked The Hobbit House. We save our money up so we can stay at this amazing place. This time, however, the hot tub was not working. A HUGE draw for us is the hot tub. They attempted to fix it, the people who worked there were so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond but in the end the hottub never really could warm up enough to be usable. I was beyond impressed with how they helped but I'd expect a certain amount of recompensation for this and they refunded us $50 of $1000 we paid for 2 nights. I just think they could have done better than that considering we have gone, planed to continue to go, and a refund of 0.5% just doesn't seem to fit the inconvenience and disappointment of not having a hottub.
