amazing place to stay in and relax

We had one great time here! The host was super sweet and friendly. Felt right at home with the reception and everything that followed after too was also so very pleasant. I would recommend everyone looking at the property right now to book the place right away, without any second thoughts. You get all that's been shown in the description; with a very very warm vibe from the hosts, from the time you check-in to until you make your check-out. :)

It was our first time to pondicherry. The pictures looked like the rooms were slightly big but not really. The biggest issue we had with the place was it's hygiene and cleanliness. there were cobwebs and spiders and dust everywhere. The bathroom had a dead cockroach and bugs in the bath tub.. The bathroom was a real mess, wish they had cleaned it better. Honestly, the lightning could have been better in the rooms. they had put up those dim red and orange lights which wasn't so helpful. if you are afraid of lizards, this place would not be for you. the windows dont close completely and the main door has a gap in the corner. it's a very pet friendly place. they have roosters, turkeys, and dogs in the bnb. but the dogs came at us when we got back from our outing. it was definitely scary. I wouldn't say i had the best time in this place. lots of nicer places in Pondi. but the nice thing about this place is Shabir. he was friendly and very helpful. Always with a cheer around him.

Was a terrible experience. The place looked very weathered and greatly in need of maintenance. The caretaker, Shabir, looked exhausted and badly in need of a bath. Each time, I showed him dust and requested him to clean, be would use his fingers to feel the dust and then wipe it on his shorts. I'd imagine the place once looked really beautiful as the photos on Airbnb looked. That must have been when it was well maintained. The pool was very poorly maintained too. In all, a place I'm certainly never going back to. Definitely not worth the money. As we later discovered, there are several homestay options which are clean and well maintained and much more accessible. Will be scoping these out next time. Sad experience on Airbnb this time.
