I had the privilege of staying with Laura for almost a month while working just out of town. She was always very accommodating and pleasant. She shares practically everything and also cooked for me on occasion. She’s an excellent cook by the way. She’s very cognizant of her guests having a pleasant stay and doesn’t hesitate to help with moving in and out even if you don’t ask her to. She a very nice lady with a good sense of humor and a cute lil dog. I don’t expect to be back this way but if I were to return I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Laura has been beyond exceptional! Sometimes it can be hard to find a safe place to rest your head when you travel for work. Laura keeps everything clean and fresh! She made her house a home away from home for me. She has been great company and her kindness and the fact that she opened her home to me is something that I will be forever grateful for! I highly recommend her for any and all of your air bnb needs!

I highly recommend Laura’s place. She is an incredible hostess and her place exceeded my expectation as she is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything is ok with you. Like I said in my July review, if I could give more than five stars I definitely would. Her house is always clean and is in a very safe area, she also has a surveillance system. Laura is one of the most caring person that is not part of my family that I have ever known. She makes you feel like you are home with a family member or with your best friend. I felt like I was with my very young mom, asking me: did you eat already? Telling me to have some food, she makes delicious meals and whenever possible she was willing to share with me as per her reviews I am not the only one. The first time that I stayed with her I was doing my internship to become an engineer and she told me that eating well was also part of my responsibilities to be able to be successful in my studies and in my life. We ended up buying and cooking food together and I even learned some of her recipes. Sometimes she would cook and sometimes I did with her guidance. Laura taught me how to cook for myself on a budget, as she had to learn how to do it for herself, I learned how to make quick and healthy meals. You don’t feel like you are renting a room, you feel like you are a roommate or family member. She has rules but those rules also apply to her and if there are any concerns she communicates with you in a very respectful way, and was very accommodating to my daily schedule as I didn’t know how many days I was going to stay this time. In all my years of schooling I’ve been in different places sharing and this is by far the best place that I have ever stayed. Her place is drama free, like family, healthy and positive environment. My privacy was respected and I was able to study & relax. Laura is someone that cared for me and others, I feel I found a best friend. The room is comfortable, clean and private. It has everything that you need. I had a very quiet sleep here. A wonderful accommodation at an incredible price. The Ethernet connection and Wi-Fi in the room was very helpful for the TV and for my computer. Laura always made sure I was comfortable and had what I needed. I could say more but I would never finish, so if you are looking to stay in the best place here in Fort Dodge this is it. She will have requirements, and if you are willing to comply, you won’t need to look any farther.
