Harbor House is beautiful. Very clean. Loved looking out at the marina. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars was the furniture was very uncomfortable. And the mattress in the master should be replaced. But gorgeous house and area. Owners were very nice. And fun to talk with.

This is a beautifully appointed home in a great location! The porch is expansive and just delightful for sitting and sharing food and drink and watching the water, boats and people. It is a ten minute walk to the beach and very close to the great little downtown shopping area. We really loved our stay at Harbor House!

This home is very clean, well stocked, nicely decorated. Everything you could ask for with a nice air BNB. We loved having coffee on the porch every morning, and cocktails in the evening. You can watch the sunset from the back porch and it’s beautiful watching it set over the marina. Heads up, it’s a ‘traditional’ coffee maker, not a Keurig. We picked up some local Leelanau coffee and made it in the coffee maker and it was incredible. The location of the home specifically is very nice, a pretty and quiet neighborhood and you can see the community pool from the porch, but the pool folks can’t see you. The staff that mans the pool is strict about the rules and ‘closing time’. The town outside the neighborhood (downtown Manistee) has a ways to go still, restaurants seem to stop serving food pretty early in the evening, but the area is decent enough, and looks like it’s on its way to improving further. Luckily, it’s pretty easy to go up and down the coastal towns of Lake Michigan, so we were able to check out other areas as well. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this home to anyone :)
