What a wonderful “cabin”! A space designed for relaxation. Natural lighting abounds.glorious from dawn to sunset with huge windows. It invited the outside in yet very cozy and comfortable.Beautifully designed. Midcentury modern style. All the creature comforts. Fully equipped kitchen with at least 4 different ways to make your morning cup of Joe . Did not cook while there.Clean crisp linens, firm supportive mattress, 2 showers and a soaking bath. Wood-burning stove ( a bit tricky to use).Lovely art work. Felt sustainable( compost pile too!).Wrap-around terrace with a (distant) view of Lake Michigan. Seagulls, songbirds, grasses waving in the wind.Great star-gazing.BEV charging available.saves you having to charge at Traverse City though it’s a wonderful coast-line drive between NP and TC. This is the perfect base to explore the pinkie of Michigan. Claudia was a very responsive host but we never felt a need to bother her during our stay as everything was perfect. This was quite honestly one of the best places I’ve stayed in Michigan. I highly recommend Claudia’s place if you’re looking for good vibes and true relaxation.

We loved our long weekend stay at Claudia's place! The views from all sides were breathtaking; we enjoyed every sunrise and sunset. We loved the sunken living room, color palate and decorations throughout. The kitchen was well-stocked and allowed us to cook all of our meals there. The property has a Level 2 charger, which made the trip even more convenient for us. Staying in November, we had unique views given the mostly bare trees. We would love to stay here again sometime!

I had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in Claudia’s home and it was absolutely amazing. The thoughtful, modern design, clean lines, and cozy finishes helped a toughie like me relax and unwind. The home and amenities are exactly as described. Nestled in a scenic bluff like location right outside of the village of NorthPort, this home is super private while simultaneously being close to everything NorthPort has to offer. I especially enjoyed the layout of the main living area which is extremely well appointed and cozy at the same time. The scenic views and beauty in this part of Michigan are simply unparalleled. The location of this home allows for panoramic views of the bay, deciduous forests, and vineyards. FROM THE FRONT PORCH!!! Claudia is an outstanding host, she is super responsive and kind. This home is a must stay in Northern Michigan.

Claudia’s home was such a peaceful retreat. The home was just as beautiful as the incredible views. Sitting by the fire and enjoying the fall colors was the highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to return!
