We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful barn conversion and cannot rate it highly enough. It is very comfortable and extemely well equipped. It is in a stunning, rural location and is a haven of peace to wake up in and return to. Situation-wise it is perfectly located for exploring the whole island because it is fairly central and a short journey from the ferry and airport. Perfect!

The cottage is so cosy and comfortable, everything you could wish for well equipped kitchen and a really good utility room for drying wet things!! Beautiful surroundings, really peaceful. Great host, Martin welcomed us and was really helpful when our return ferry was cancelled. Really recommend a visit to the Isle of Man it is beautiful and the cottage was a great place to base ourselves to explore.

Martin was a very helpful and friendly host. He responded immediately to messages and left clear directions. He notified us of some potential work going on beforehand and was kind enough to leave a welcome pack of essential food items and treats which were greatly appreciated! The location of the cottage is stunning. Words and pictures can’t describe the views you wake up to. The beds were very comfy and we all slept well at night. Probably the comfiest beds we’ve had anywhere we’ve been away. The cottage was well equipped with kitchen appliances and lots of helpful guides for the local area along with toys, books, CDs and DVDs. However I was disappointed to find that downstairs is damp and mouldy. There was evidence of mould on the ceiling, walls, skirting boards and curtains. The bedrooms had a distinct damp smell which wasn’t the nicest to sleep in. I even had to wipe mould from the headboard. There were also a lot of woodlice in the property and dead ones on windowsills on arrival

We had a great stay at Martins place. Edd Gollan Geayee is in a very peaceful spot, with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The cottage is spacious and really well equipped. Martin has provided plenty of books, maps & games and all you could possibly need in the kitchen. There was plenty of hot water and a shower that is easy to control :-) We enjoyed watching the horses and sheep in the surrounding fields. This was our first visit to the Isle of Man, we'd love to return in the future.
