I was very happy with this place, it is very spacious and clean and a wonderful atmosphere. Bed is extremely comfortable, hot water is hot. Big windows with great airflow. It’s a close walking distance to all the wonderful caves and holy sites and good restaurants. Someone was always available to help me if I had a problem or a question. I absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again.

The retreat center is beautiful, rich and luxurious in appearance. I was staying as a short term guest for USD$25/night, not as a group participant. I would have given it 4 or even 5 star rating accept that there were too many things not working in the apartment to earn this value. It is a beautiful apartment with a comfortable bed. It is on the top floor with much light coming in. It is just next to the road so there is truck and road noise throughout the day and early evening. It gets very stuffy and hot in the afternoon. I requested the use of their standing fan that helped very much. After staying here 4 days I requested that the kitchen floor be swept, the trash emptied and the bathroom floor washed. I was told by one of the monks that it wasn't their duty. Guests are expected to do their own cleaning and provide their own cleaning supplies, floor rags, soap, etc. WIFI: The signal is inconsistent and disconnected every night at 9 pm. Even with several requests for them to keep it on for my work purposes. Electric outlets: From the 6 outlets in the apartment, only 2 work consistently, 1 the kitchen and 1 at the front entrance works if you position the plug correctly. There is one behind the bed that has a back light plugged into it. I unplugged it so I could use it. Kitchen: A refrigerator would add value to the place, connect the exhaust fan in the window and connect the electric plug point behind the stove. Hot water and shower: It takes 10 min of running water to get hot water and then it is a very small trickle...not possible to take a shower. Only tepid or cold showers are possible. Tub: It is not a jacuzzi as advertised. it is a bathtub and upon arrival I was told that it was blocked and could not be used. Taking all of this into consideration, it would have been nice if a friendly discount was offered.

This is a great spiritual place, just next to a retreat center. The bed- / living room was very spacious at the top floor with a huge rooftop terrace with 270° breathtaking sunrise view and mountain view! All spiritual interesting spots you can reach by foot, same for supermarket and restaurants. I can highly recommend this place, and the best is, with the room rate you sponsor this retreat center.

Beautiful accommodation ! Spacious, clean, near to the village. Zen and peaceful atmosphere in this airbnb. Large bed of good quality. We slept quietly 🙏 We had been greeted nicely with a lot of kindness. Thank you for all !
