Excellent interior design with really nice touches. Clean, the sleep 5 part a stretch. It's really a tri-plex of units (not clear in ad) with somewhat separate private spaces outside, some road noise not too bad, quite a few items need repair light switches, trash compactor, no soap in shower, bed is a nice mattress but on plywood, could not get gas fireplace(s)s to work, stove missing knob, the heating/cooling not too clear as was the wi-fi password (first letter is a capitol), no cell phone reception, but I didn't need much on a warm April weekend. Being on Hwy 4 is a plus if you are really there to go out to elsewhere which has many attractions, nice Italian restaurant almost next door. Bottom line, for the price well worth it although in the winter or hot summer that heat/cool system better work (maybe it does, but the other control in bedroom is dead). Great design, but for me it's only a 4 star and it's for sale, maybe that's explains a lot. Defunct buildings nearby.

Really lovely little cabin for a last-minute getaway. Close to the lake, coffee shop, grocery store, and some great trails. Incredibly responsive host—I was having challenges with the gas stove remote, and when I mentioned it via message they responded immediately, then dropped batteries off at the door 30 minutes later. That was really impressive! Thanks so much for letting us stay.

Very clean and tidy place. Good location to access restaurants in Arnold and calaveras big tree state parks. Despite the power outage during our first night, the host communicated well and I was happy to stay in a comfortable place.

We Love Staying at Roger’s Place! This is not our first time! Always super clean, smells fresh, and friendly! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at any of his rentals! Katie, is so sweet, and always available! Left Easter eggs hidden with chocolate inside, also a bottle of wine ready when we enter! Hands down, our favorite rental (we rent a lot)!❤️❌⭕️
