The place was a bit challenging to locate unless you read the reviews -- you have to walk down the stairs next to the building, and enter through the sliding glass doors. We encountered a few issues (mostly with random things being broken) but the host responded quickly to them, to our satisfaction. But on the last night, the carbon monoxide alarm's started beeping every minute due to low battery, and when we asked if there were replacement batteries in the unit, we didn't get a response. Overall, the place was clean but dated. The location in town is great. The unit is located below three other rental units, and you can definitely hear footsteps, but we were lucky and the folks above were very quiet and respectful.

I would recommend this place depending on the plan you have. The location is definitely amazing! The pace needs some maintenance including the exterior areas and kitchen appliances. We are a family with 2 small kids that expect to spend at least half of the day in the place, but if you are looking for a place with good location, great beds to take a rest and great hot water to take a shower, you have to stay here!

Amazing! I can’t thank megs enough! After a long drive and my group crying for an early checkin she went way beyond to get us in comfortably. We just wish we had more forks . Overall experience was amazing at the bears lair and would love to come back. Thank you for the experience!

Had a great stay with my two grandchildren. They played with the games especially the ping pong table. Dog friendly, I was able to walk my dog without leaving the property, good location, close to lake, dining and stores. Very comfortable and clean. Definitely will return. Megs, very friendly to communicate with.
