The stay was okay until the owner gave me a single day notice to vacate my room even though I had two weeks of stay left. The room did not have an air conditioner and that was inconvenient during the hot and humid weather. Apart from this, the house manager was responsive to queries and provided the toiletries and other supplies on time. Would suggest this place if you need something close to a bus stop at an affordable price.

Feel very fortunate to have spent the summer at Joeleo's airbnb. He is a great host and a better man, doing a lot of nice things for the Detroit youth and community. This place had everything I needed. A private room with a nice bed, tv, laundry, and good location 10 minutes from Downtown. Best thing was Joeleo's willingness to accommodate me to the best of his abilities, he owns a few different airbnb properties. One time there was a storm that left 600k people in Detroit area without power. Joeleo let me stay at another of his airbnb's that did have power for the night! One thing that could have been better was the housekeeping. The lady was nice but inconsistent with the cleaning and bringing toilet paper, etc. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in Detroit long-term with a budget. The location, ammenities and super hosting are phenomenal for this price range. Thank you for a great summer and keep doing your thing Joeleo!
