The cabin was not the issue. it was very peaceful and wonderful view. However, I wish there was a better description of the road leading to the cabin and parking. Parking was concerning for a full size truck as there is no way to turn around. Thankfully there was no vehicle in the cabin down from it so we could back up from the parking spot at the cloud cabin. I think it would be helpful to have a more realistic description of the terrain and steepness of the road to better prepare for the journey up to the cabin. We planned to stay two days, however left after one night as we had plans for the next day. Once we left the cabin, we were not making the trip back up the mountain again, especially in the dark as we would not have returned till the evening. Therefore this not a cabin that I feel you can come and go without a second thought.

We had a lovely stay in Brian’s cabin. The view is amazing, everything we needed was available. He even helped us with getting there with the 4x4 jeep. It’s so beautiful and the walk to the waterfalls is nice. The cabin is not the most modern facility, but it also adds to the charm of staying in the woods.

This is definitely a gorgeous cabin with beautiful views. The trails were steps away from the back door. The cabin itself was just the right amount of rustic with enough amenities to be comfortable. There are a few cabins nearby, but we never saw anyone else during our stay, so it felt very private. The view of the mountains on this rainy spring weekend was incredible: we could watch the cloud roll over the mountain and up to our front yard!

Loved our stay, will be looking into the other properties for future dates. Brian was a fantastic host, very responsive and we had an excellent experience.
