Great place to stay, especially if you’re wanting to go out and about every day. However, if you’re looking for somewhere to lounge around it’s not really set up for that. The TV signal is terrible ( I’m guessing it’s because the location) the Wi-Fi isn’t wonderful, the hot tub is a lot of work to get going and the place was overall quite stark. However, saying that the beds were comfortable. The house was warm and everything was there that was needed. There is a shop on the site, could do with selling some more essentials and letting us know that it was there would’ve been helpful. And perhaps some clearer instructions for things within the house. The pool and hot tub facilities are fantastic, but like somebody else said could’ve been a bit warmer for our taste however it didn’t stop us from using it and there was plenty of availability.
Absolutely fabulous stay at The Broch. The accommodation is immaculate and has everything you need. David was on hand to answer any queries and got back to us immediately when questions asked. The swimming pool was amazing also and our little boy absolutely loved it - fab that you get slots to yourself. The only thing we would suggest was possibly blinds in the living/bedroom area. Because the building is all glass, it’s was uncomfortably warm inside and it was quite difficult to sleep! Minor thing for such a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning with the rest of our family. Highly recommend and well worth the money.
Beautifully located, wonderfully comfortable accommodation. The website photos can’t really capture how beautiful the surrounding views are. It’s a little out of the way, and a tiny bit tricky to find (or that might just be us as clueless Australians) but the peace and beauty of the surrounding countryside made it well worthwhile.
Perfect place for chilling out. The pool was amazing, the views stunning. Husband loved how well equipped the kitchen was. Just gorgeous.
