In order to reach the beck you must first cross the railway line, and it is from here that you can experience the fabulous sight of the Wensleydale Railway, with their beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages as they make their way through some of Yorkshire’s finest countryside. Stabling facilities and a paddock are available on request within the farm grounds, with bridleways to ride out on literally from the doorstep. It is just a 10-minute walk to the historic market town of Bedale with with its selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and Wensleydale railway station.
