Lovely place to stay and very welcoming

A lovely cottage which is much bigger than the photos suggest! It is tucked away in a beautiful valley with woodland walks straight from the door and plenty of wildlife to watch through the windows of a morning, including roe deer. The garden is fully enclosed and catches the sun in the afternoon - perfect for enjoying a glass of wine! Milk, wine, chocolates and dog biscuits awaited our arrival and our host was very friendly and welcoming. We had a very comfortable stay and wanted for nothing - we would definitely recommend.

Very secluded and quiet barn conversion; hidden away in a wooded valley. owners are on site and made us feel very welcome. The barn has its own enclosed garden perfect for BBQs and eating al fresco. Barn is spacious and had plenty room for my three teenagers. Kitchen was well equipped and easy to cook in. Wifi worked well and was good enough for streaming onto the smart TV. The barn is accessed by a long track down the side of the valley - but this was easily negotiated by my 2 wheel drive fiesta, even when heavily laden. I would strongly recommend Whisperdale Barn if you're looking for P&Q and a comfortable and easy place to stay in.

Beautiful barn, in a beautiful setting. very peaceful, with some wildlife to watch. The barn itself was lovely, clean, and welcoming! I would definitely recommend it. One point to make is that the track leading to the barn is very bumpy and, at times, steep. We were glad we had a four-wheel drive to get up there!

What an amazing place to stay! A beautiful home away from home. A great place to explore Whitby and Scarborough.
