Spent five weeks in Amanda’s apartment and got out of it exactly what I was looking for — to know how it feels to “live” as a local in New York City. I visit as often as possible but renting an apartment, opposed to a hotel, is a very different experience that I suggest for anyone willing to quickly assimilate to get the full local feel. Amanda‘s apartment is among some of the most charming and beautiful historical streets in the Village and it truly felt like I was living both in the present and in the past. I loved sleeping in on the weekends and waking up to the beautiful garden view from the back bedroom and also fell in love with the neighbor’s rescue puppy Sage! Amanda was extremely accommodating and flexible from pre-booking to after check-out while also giving me the autonomy and privacy to live in her apartment, which helped contribute to the “living” experience I was looking for. Truly a wonderful experience and am saddened I had to leave!!! Thank you again Amanda!!

We’ve spend a month at this cozy apartment and really enjoyed it! Great location, many great Restaurants and shops around, beautiful buildings, close to subway. Amanda was a great host, very responsive and caring. I would definitely come back to this spot.

Really enjoyed my stay at Amanda’s beautiful place! It was perfect for my time in NYC - great location with lots of things to do nearby and good access to the subway. The cherry on top was Amanda who was a fantastic host - super responsive, thoughtful and helpful. I would happily stay here again and would have no problem recommending it to anyone who wanted a lovely place to stay in Manhattan 😊
