Sue was always around if you needed anything and was warm and friendly. Easy drive to the gorge or Mendip hills. Pub very nearby with good food and a shop a few minutes by car. The stream was right next to the accommodation and I liked listening to the water. Use of the garden was a big plus.

The hobbit house was perfect for our much-needed escape to the countryside. Sue was a gracious and thoughtful host and was happy to help when my partner fell ill halfway through our stay. We felt peaceful and at ease in the space and slept with the best natural white noise ever because of the brook babbling next to the house. At least one evening was spent daydreaming about what it would be like if we built our own hobbit house! We'll have to return in better health to make use of the fire pits and further explore the beautiful landscape.

What an amazing stay, absolutely loved the Hobbit House! Sue was so welcoming and has great cider recommendations. She had made the house a home away from home. I couldn't put my finger on the feeling of being so at peace and tranquil and blissed out. I am already planning another stay in the summer, can't wait!

The Hobbit House is a magical place that brings so much joy. You can feel the love that has gone into creating this unique space. And I feel so honoured to have experienced this special place. Sue is such a wonderful host and extremely accommodating. I cannot recommend this place enough. I already can’t wait to return again soon.

We had an amazing amazing time. It's so beautiful there and have already told all our friends to go too. Such a lovely romantic getaway, hope to go back next year too :)
