We felt very much at home in Ellen’s bungalow. Every conceivable need was anticipated and provided for. The neighborhood is tucked away in the woods, but the bay is visible from the front door. It feels like a little village, with all kinds of wildlife. We came to Rochester for the solar eclipse and had lots of questions on the best viewing spots and how to get to them. Ellen was very patient in dealing with our concerns. Rochester had heavy clouds on eclipse day, but we still enjoyed the experience with some very sweet and friendly people in the neighborhood. The cats were a special bonus! We are grateful to Ellen for her hospitality and thoughtfulness.

Ellen was a responsive host and property was as described. I felt very comfortable. I was able to sleep during the day as it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Ellen is very friendly and kind.

Ellen's home is very comfortable and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and warm (with flannel linens!). Ellen is well educated and well-traveled - comfortable hosting a wide variety of people.

My mom in law stayed at Ellen’s place over night. She commented that it was clean and cozy, a nice relaxing place to stay. I was very pleased with the value.
