This was a very nice place to relax for an extended time. It's very quiet and close to town for anything you'd need. the Multi Scoop across the street is great for morning coffees.

Although the place was cute. it was very small. They went with a barn door style, which provides no privacy, as even when you close the door, it leaves quite a space. The veiw when sitting on the deck was the roof of a huge building in front of you and another house that was under construction. The people in the neighborhood didn't seem that friendly. They weren't rude, just not welcoming like you expect in Nova Scotia. The place was clean and had everything you needed. Frying pans were old and not good for cooking as all the non-stick surface was worn off. Mike, the host, seems to be friendly enough. This place didn't suit all my needs and preferences for the price we paid, but I'm sure it would be great for someone else. The area of Nova Scotia is beautiful, but the location of this property within this little community was disappointing. I wouldn't rent this property again, but I'm sure someone else might enjoy it

Stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Nova Scotia and it felt right at home. Super cozy place that’s right near the water and the host was very friendly! Great experience.

Le logement était propre et bien organisé. Le lit est très confortable. Par contre, il y avait beaucoup d'araignées à l'extérieur devant les fenêtres. Nous avons tout de même grandement apprécié notre séjour :)

This was a great cozy space for a couple to get away and relax. Enjoyed having a kitchen with the basic stuff you need preparing meals for times you might not want to go out and eat. The lake the property is beautiful and I enjoyed the short ride I took on the canoe prodive there. There are plenty of things to do that are a short drive away. Peggy Cove was great day trip enjoyed the area. Many things one can do and places to eat in Halifax. There are great wineries a little over an hour away with great views and wonderful wines to try. Definitely want to go back again and do more exploring of other places, as I didn't get everything I wanted to see done.
