We loved our stay at Waterfall Cottage, the house was cosy and clean. The garden was huge and the children’s room was something out of a magazine. The people are polite and friendly too. The waterfall was very close to the cottage. The shops were just under 20 minutes walk, which may sound like really far but it was a lovely walk with lovely views (couple of mins in car). Matt was a great host, whenever we needed to get in touch with him, Matt was super quick at responding. Most definitely recommend Waterfalls Cottage, with or without children it’s a lovely place to stay/visit.

We really enjoyed our stay at Waterfall Cottage- despite the rain! My children really loved the bunk beds and took it in turns on each bunk- refreshing to have beds that cater for 3 children so easily! The stream and water fall were a bonus in the garden and walking along the stream we were pleased to find the playground too! The cottage is well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen- including milk and biscuits on arrival. For days out we enjoyed Malham Cove, Janet’s foss etc and had a nice stroll around Settle. For food we recommend a trip to Billy Bobs for the hay barn alone! We would love to return again, summer next time so we can paddle more. Thanks Matthew for being so responsive. The Coldreys

The cottage was absolutely lovely. Perfect space to unwind after a day exploring. The garden is lovely. The waterfall is lovely and so close! We also found a cute little park if you walk past the car park. The kids loved this find, as well as the bunk beds. We loved being able to get the log burner rocking after a day out. So cosy. Matthew is a great host. Very helpful and quick to reply to messages. A great little place. I think we'll definitely come back.

The house itself was beautiful and my children enjoyed the bedroom. My eldest who is autistic loved the outside where she could hear the water from the river. It calmed her. Initially we was unable to close the front door, but Matthew came and sorted it straight away. Very helpful and pleasant person. Cannot recommend this little house or matthew enough. Honestly, great little place.
