Very much enjoyed staying at Rosie’s place! Rosie was a great communicator. We got a warm welcome from Rosie’s friend and neighbor when we arrived and felt right at home. She gave us great recommendations on things to do around town, trails to hike and restaurants to explore. My partner and I were on a long weekend trip to hike the redwoods. This is a very convenient location, close to Trinidad town (1ish miles) with coffee and restaurants. It’s a small town but very lively. We didn’t get to explore the Trinidad beach but it’s also very close by. The room is very cozy and had heating so it doesn’t get cold. We stargazed on the balcony while drinking wine and that was magical. Overall and great stay and would definitely come back here if we are in the area again.

Dick and Rose are amazing hosts. Very helpful and welcoming with the checkin process. It was exactly as described and just what I was looking for. Would definitely stay there again if I needed to stay in the area again.

We enjoyed staying at Seagull house. Rose and Dick were very friendly and happy to chat and explain everything. The road to the place was a bit tricky to navigate but Rose provided excellent driving instructions. We had trouble connecting to the Wi-Fi at first. Dick came over and personally fixed the issue and we had no problems with WiFi from that point on. Seagull house is in a very secluded location. It is close to the Redwood National park and other state parks in the area.
