Our stay at Philip’s bungalow was very pleasant and felt so comfortably homely. The bungalow is situated overlooking tea plantations and there are great views from the grounds to the nearby hillsides. The rooms are very large with high ceilings and furnished with antique furniture. The bathrooms were very clean. The staff at the premises were very helpful and took care of all our needs. More than anything else we enjoyed the peace and calm there. We really enjoyed the house and the grounds. Would love to visit again and I would recommend it to friends and family.

This place reminded me a planters house and the ambience of a bygone era of a stately plantation life and the grandness of ester days. The house itself was grand and elegant with large rooms ,high ceilings , large veranda, grand entrance, beautiful antique furnishings but equipped with modern bathrooms , washbasins etc . The kitchen was large and equipped well with all utensils and kept very clean and tidy. Always look forward to come back to relax and enjoy the calming atmosphere with tea plantations around with a large garden at the entrance! Lovely place to stay for a few days without comparison to any other fancier locations!
