The privileged location will allow you to enjoy the sea, the coast or the mountain, natural areas where to hike or cycle, cultural old towns and monuments of ancient cities and the Galician gastronomy and wines. There is good proximity to the historical old town of Santiago de Compostela (Unesco) and Pontevedra and to the beautiful fishing/ sailor villages of Combarro, Cambados or O Grove.
A homemade guide will be provided at the entrance with advices of activities and places to visit nearby and also on the whole region.

· Last week of July: Fiesta del albarino in Cambados (wine festival focus on the albarino wine).
· First week of August: Romaria vikinga in Catoira (festival that is a representation of the invasions of Vikings in the region, the whole town becomes a cultural centre and theatre).
· First weekend of September: Fiesta del pulpo in Illa de Arousa (gastronomy event focus on seafood, especially octopus).
· From the first weekend to second weekend of August: Penas in Pontevedra (bull festival and party focus on drinking).
· First weekend of September: Feira Franca in Pontevedra (festival representing the living during the X/XI century of the region, the whole town becomes a cultural centre and theatre).
· First week of October: Fiesta del marisco in O Grove (festival gastronomy event focus on seafood).
To highlight in the very close proximity:
· Finca da Saleta: One of the most important private botanic collections of Spain.
· Pazo Rubians: Historical palace where you can take a guided tour around the wine yards and camellias gardens.
· Ruta de la Camelia: Beautiful natural area for trekking.
