Everything was as described, including quiet neighbors/other guests, lovely view from the back deck. There were 2 swans swimming in the lake, some gazebos and a few canoeists on one day. As another person stated, the unit is close to the state highway, but any noise quickly becomes like "white noise." There are other units in the building, but all entrances and decks/balconies are private. The unit was very clean, and all instructions/communication was timely and clear. A nice kitchen setup (in the living area), with all of the basics required for cooking. The sofa is comfortable, and the bed is very firm, as someone else described. I like firm beds, so it wasn't an issue for me. The unit is close to a major regional grocery store, a few restaurants, gas station, a performing arts center, and a state park. It's within a reasonable drive to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, my main destination.

the only complaint was the bed was to hard for our liking. The pond with the swans was awesome and lots of walking areas.
