I had a lovely stay! I was really only there during evenings and to sleep since I spent my whole entire days at Skydive Chicago. When I let Jody know the hairdryer was missing she promptly ensured a replacement was delivered. It was very interesting that some things in the unit appeared to be original or restored, like doors and the living room floor, but a lot of the other rooms were refreshed and updated. Jody said the outside was the middle of restorations but the workers were on a hold while I stayed, so thanks for making sure my weekend was quiet!

The inside of the apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is very pretty & friendly and well worth a walk around. There is even a very nice neighborhood park. We enjoyed biking the rail trail & hiking at Starved Rock while we were there.

This home has amazing character and is updated to have modern day amenities like a/c. It's a short walk to downtown Ottawa which has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops. It's also a 20 minute drive to amazing state parks, which we loved visiting.
