This place was amazing for a complete peaceful break. The surroundings were beautiful and we were very close to the gorgeous Cotswolds. The farm animals were very friendly and enjoyed being fed. The only down side was the hob taking hours to cook anything. I love cooking but this really tested my patience. We thoroughly enjoyed a fantastic meal at the New Wave seafood place on our last night. We will be back but will go to a cabin with a functioning hob. Many thanks

The cabin is well equipped and spacious. To repeat what has been mentioned in another guest's review, the photos do not convey how large the cabin is. The cabin is very close to another cabin but both cabins are well insulated so we didn't hear any noise from our neighbours. The cabin is dog friendly though if you are using the log stove rather than the electric heating, you might want to consider bringing some form of guard to put around the stove. It is not that easy, particularly in the dark to find the entrance of the main road but otherwise the directions to get to and get into the cabin were clear. It was also very thoughtful of Tom to have put both the lights and the heating on before we arrived. It is a short walk into Lechlade which is a pleasant place though we preferred some of the other nearby towns such as Burford. It is a bit of a drive from the cabin (about 40 minutes) but the circular walk from Broadway up to and back from the tower is wonderful.
Lovely log cabin if you are wanting a peaceful get away, lots of animals in the farm if you have children, restaurants, pub and shops a little walk away and lovely little village, about a 20 minute drive to days out such as zoos and wildlife parks. We had a lovely stay 😊
